At HOGENT, we are committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of our customers. We therefore find it important that we keep our customers informed about what we do with their data and why we need these data. We therefore ask you to take your time to read this privacy statement.

What is the scope of this privacy statement?

This privacy statement applies to all personal data that HOGENT has collected from pupils, students, contact persons of educational institutions and external parties who use the HOGENT webshop. The services referred to are listed below under "purposes of the processing".

This privacy statement has been drawn up and is kept up to date in accordance with the provisions and requirements of the new European privacy regulation, the GDPR. This means that:

• HOGENT processes the personal data of its customers in a lawful, properly and transparent manner;
• HOGENT only processes the personal data of its customers for specific and legitimate purposes;
• HOGENT only processes those personal data of its customers that are necessary to achieve these purposes. HOGENT will therefore not collect and further use unnecessary personal data from its customers;
• HOGENT does not store the personal data of its customers for longer than two weeks in order to achieve its purposes. Once the purposes have been achieved, HOGENT will delete the personal data.

What do we use your personal data for? (our purposes)

In order for HOGENT to fully offer and perform its services, it needs various personal data from you. You can read below for which services and purposes HOGENT needs this personal data. For this purpose we use personal data that we obtain directly from you. For example, data about your visit to our webshop that is collected on the basis of cookies. Use of cookies

HOGENT websites sometimes use 'cookies'. These are small pieces of information that are sent through your browser and stored on the hard drive of your computer or mobile device. This information is sent back to the website administrator upon each visit. Facebook advertising

The Facebook pixel ensures that, if you are logged in to Facebook, we can show you relevant advertisements on Facebook and measure the result.
